Velocify review
Velocify is a Mortgage CRM and Lead Management product from ICE Mortgage Technology. MortgageTechReview scores Velocify 4.0 out of 5.0, ranking Velocify #9 of the 34 products tracked in Mortgage CRM and Lead Management Software, as of August 11, 2026. Scores on MortgageTechReview are weighted across five axes and are never paid for or influenced by a vendor relationship.
Lead management and sales acceleration product covering routing, prioritization, and dialer functionality. Came to ICE through the Ellie Mae acquisition in 2017. Historically the benchmark for consumer-direct lead distribution speed. It is still the second strongest pure lead management system here, behind Insellerate. It is not a full CRM, and that ceiling is the only thing holding it out of the upper tier. On the job it was built to do, nothing here beats it except Insellerate.

Velocify wins 0 of 5 axes against Shape, on the weight profile published for this category. Full head-to-head →
Where it wins
- Still excellent at what it does. On routing, prioritization, and dialer throughput it is beaten only by Insellerate, and the gap between them is narrow.
- Ranks second in the category on lead management specifically. That is worth more than its overall placement suggests, if that is the job you are hiring for.
- Instant routing from rate-table and aggregator sources to a designated LO within seconds.
- Proven at scale in consumer-direct environments over many years.
- Sits inside the ICE stack alongside Encompass for lenders already there.
Where it falls short
- Third-party comparisons describe it as being in maintenance mode under ICE, which is consolidating CRM strategy around Surefire. That is a characterization by competitors and commentators, not a position ICE has stated publicly. Large consumer-direct shops keep buying it.
- Not a full CRM. No meaningful pipeline management, no post-close nurture, no referral partner tooling. You are buying a second system and paying for both.
- Buying into a product whose parent is steering customers elsewhere carries renewal risk.
- Frequently misdescribed in third-party content as an Insellerate product, which muddies evaluation.
Why it scores 4.0

Production impact
30% of scoreVelocify is still the engine consumer-direct shops measure everything else against. Speed to lead is the one thing in that model that reliably moves funded volume, and this product is built around it: instant routing from rate-table and aggregator sources to a designated loan officer within seconds, then a dialer that keeps the queue moving. Proven at scale over many years. Only Insellerate does this job better, and not by much.
Functionality and depth
15% of scoreDistribution and dialing run very deep. The relationship side thins out once the lead becomes a borrower.
Integrations and ecosystem
15% of scoreIt sits inside the ICE stack alongside Encompass, which is worth real money to a lender already there and close to nothing to one who is not. That is most of the story. Because it is not a full CRM, it also has to hand the borrower off to whatever you run for pipeline and post-close, and you pay to run both.
Adoption and support
30% of scoreA generation of sales managers already knows this product, which keeps training cost low on a call floor with turnover. That familiarity is worth more than it sounds. Users report friction when a lead moves across owners. Third-party comparisons describe it as being in maintenance mode under ICE, which is consolidating CRM strategy around Surefire. That is a characterization by competitors and commentators, not a position ICE has stated publicly, and large consumer-direct shops keep buying it. This lands in the middle of the category.
Return on spend
10% of scorePricing is quote-only, so the value question here is the roadmap rather than the feature set. Third-party commentators describe the product as being in maintenance mode under ICE. That is a characterization, not a position ICE has stated, but it is the right thing to price into a renewal. For routing and dialer throughput you are buying performance that exists today. Negotiate the term short.
On price. ICE publishes no price for Velocify. The product sells inside ICE Mortgage Technology and no longer stands alone. TrustRadius and G2 both state that no pricing is listed. Expect an enterprise agreement priced alongside the wider ICE stack. Ask what Velocify costs on its own, in writing.
